Job description
Beech Valley is seeking an experienced Director of Business Analysis & Grants to lead financial planning, business analytics, and grant management functions. This role will oversee data-driven decision support, ensure effective grant compliance and reporting, and partner with leadership to drive organizational performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of financial acumen, strategic insight, and experience managing grant-funded programs.
What You’ll Do
Lead business analysis and financial planning efforts to support strategic initiatives
Oversee grant lifecycle management, including budgeting, tracking, compliance, and reporting
Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards
Partner with executive leadership to provide actionable insights and recommendations
Ensure compliance with grant requirements, including federal, state, and private funding guidelines
Drive process improvements across reporting, budgeting, and data analysis functions
Manage and mentor team members within finance, analytics, or grants functions
Collaborate cross-functionally with program, accounting, and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
8+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, or grant management
Strong understanding of grant compliance, reporting, and funding structures
Proven ability to build financial models and interpret complex data sets
Experience partnering with senior leadership and presenting insights
Strong leadership and team management experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
Nice to Have
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or government-funded environments
Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
