Orion Solutions Group is working with an industry leading 3PL with a large trailer fleet, in search of an Asset Maintenance Director. This person will drive operational excellence and elevate the performance of a high-impact trailer fleet. This leadership role offers the chance to shape the future of asset strategy at a fast-growing logistics powerhouse making a real difference in the industry.

Responsibilities:
Overseeing the maintenance and optimization of owned and leased dry van trailer assets
Managing vendor relationships and negotiating repair and sourcing contracts
Implementing preventive maintenance and minimizing fleet downtime
Partnering with operations to align capacity and asset utilization
Developing KPIs and reporting on trailer performance and costs
Driving fleet-related process improvements and budgeting initiatives
Qualifications:
Be able to do the job as described
Have deep experience specifically with dry van fleets
Bring a sharp eye for vendor negotiation and contract management
Demonstrate strong strategic planning capabilities for fleet growth
Possess a background in transportation capacity forecasting and optimization
