Job description
We are partnering with a real estate private equity firm focused on last-mile industrial properties to hire a Director of Asset Management for its Atlanta office.
This role offers ownership across asset operations, leasing, financial analysis, capital projects, and acquisition support. The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of industrial or commercial real estate asset management experience and enjoys working across the financial and operational aspects of a portfolio.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day asset and property operations, including tenant relationships and property performance.
Lead leasing activity, including market research, comparable analysis, and negotiations.
Support acquisition underwriting, transaction analysis, due diligence, and onboarding of new properties.
Review operating budgets, appraisals, rental assumptions, discounted cash flow analyses, and capital improvement plans.
Coordinate maintenance, construction projects, vendor contracts, and service proposals.
Develop analytical tools to monitor portfolio performance and improve reporting and workflows.
Oversee lease administration, collections, insurance tracking, invoice approvals, and property inspections.
Support monthly and quarterly investor reporting.
Qualifications
5–8 years of asset management experience within industrial or commercial real estate.
Strong financial analysis skills and an understanding of financial statements.
Advanced Excel proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and independently drive projects to completion.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
Willingness to travel approximately 10–15% of the time.
