Solarbridge Technology Inc. is a U.S.-based clean energy technology company designing and manufacturing next-generation Power Conversion System (PCS) modules and AC solutions for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) appliances .
As C&I energy storage accelerates, Solarbridge is scaling fast and looking for a Director of Business Development who can open doors, close complex deals, and build a repeatable growth engine with integrators and EPCs across North America.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for the Director of Business Development, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) at Solarbridge Technology Inc., located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Director of Business Development will oversee lead generation initiatives, conduct comprehensive market research, and develop business opportunities to drive growth. The role also involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, managing customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and identifying strategic partnerships to expand the company’s market presence in the energy storage sector.
Qualifications
5-10 years in business development, sales leadership, or commercial strategy in BESS, PCS, power electronics, inverters, or grid-interactive energy systems
Ability to develop business relatioships wiht system integrators, EPCs, OEMs, or large C&I customers
Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating market trends, business opportunities, and competitive landscapes
Excellent Communication skills for building relationships, presenting ideas, and conducting negotiationsExpertise in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify and create new business opportunities
Demonstrated experience in business development or sales in the energy sector, preferably in BESS
Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics is an asset
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
