Director/Senior Director of Business Development – Digital Solutions & IT Talent
Are you a visionary sales leader with a passion for technology and a proven track record in B2B sales? Do you thrive on building lasting relationships and driving innovation? We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader to spearhead the expansion of our Digital, Talent, and AI capabilities. Successful Ascendum Directors and Senior Directors tend to have 7-12 years of sales experience with an existing network.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Sales Leadership: Craft and execute bold business development strategies to penetrate new markets and deepen our presence in existing accounts.
Client Relationship Management: Forge and nurture trust-based partnerships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers, becoming a strategic ally in their digital transformation journeys.
Solution Architecture: Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored Digital Solutions and IT Talent strategies that address client-specific challenges and objectives.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align proactive proposals and business development efforts with organizational goals and capabilities.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
Who You Are
Experienced: You bring years of B2B sales experience, particularly within the technology solution and staffing sectors, with a proven ability to close multi-million-dollar deals.
Strategic Thinker: You possess a keen understanding of market dynamics and can develop strategies that drive growth and innovation.
Relationship Builder: Your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Tech-Savvy: You have a curiosity and eagerness to learn and utilize emerging technologies to stay ahead in the industry.
Leader: You have demonstrated success in leading sales teams and driving revenue growth through innovative business development strategies.
Analytical: You are proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools to manage pipelines and forecast sales effectively.
Adventurous: Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25% or more) to meet with clients and attend industry events.
