Job description
Director of Business Development for Wireless Team
As a Director of Business Development for our Wireless team, you will drive growth of Granite's wireless business by developing new customers, strategic opportunities, and high-growth markets. The role will focus heavily on Granite's unique Dual-Carrier SIM for cell phones and Multi-Carrier SIM for data/IoT devices, along with mobility and wireless connectivity solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive new wireless business, revenue, and unit growth.
Develop opportunities for Granite's Dual-Carrier SIM for cell phones and Multi-Carrier SIM for IoT and data devices.
Target high-potential verticals including transportation, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, logistics, digital signage, automated retail, and other multi-location businesses.
Build relationships with C-level, IT, operations, and technology executives.
Partner with Granite sales teams to identify, develop, and close strategic wireless opportunities.
Develop relationships with carriers, device manufacturers, IoT providers, and technology partners.
Educate and coach sales teams on wireless positioning, use cases, and prospecting.
Maintain a strong pipeline and provide leadership with regular updates on opportunities and market activity.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of successful wireless, telecom, IoT, or technology business development/sales experience.
Proven success generating and closing new enterprise business.
Strong knowledge of cellular, mobility, SIM/eSIM, IoT, and 4G/5G connectivity.
Experience selling to multi-location businesses, fleets, or organizations with large numbers of connected devices.
Strong executive prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify new markets, partnerships, and wireless use cases.
Entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and comfortable building a business from the ground up.
Strong Salesforce/CRM discipline.
Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
Willingness to travel as needed.
