A premier higher education hospitality provider is seeking an experienced Catering Director to lead large-scale catering operations at a prominent university campus in Albany, NY . What You'll Do
Oversee full-scale catering operations, from event booking to menu development, pricing, and administration
Lead execution of catering events of all sizes, ensuring consistent, high-quality service from BEOs
Drive annual marketing strategy, contract negotiations, and client-facing sales support
Own financial performance, sales targets, food/labor costs, and departmental accounting
Hire, train, and develop a high-performing catering team
What You Bring
4+ years in catering/events, with 1–3 years managing high-volume operations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday events
Food Handlers & Alcohol Service certifications (or ability to obtain)
