Job description
We're seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead the delivery of hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects ranging from 5MW to 100+MW. This role oversees multiple campuses simultaneously and is responsible for driving projects from site preparation through commissioning and operational turnover.
Key Responsibilities
Lead construction projects for hyperscale data centers, colocation facilities, and other mission-critical environments
Manage all phases of construction, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, commissioning, and turnover
Oversee MEP-focused scopes, including electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, and other critical infrastructure
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Drive quality assurance, commissioning efforts, and operational readiness for high-availability facilities
Provide executive-level reporting on project performance, costs, schedules, and risks
Qualifications
8+ years of construction management experience, including mission-critical or data center projects
Experience delivering large-scale projects valued at $250M+
Strong background in MEP construction, commissioning, and critical power and cooling infrastructure
Experience supporting hyperscale data center builds ranging from 5MW to 100+MW preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders in fast-paced environments
