Role Description
The Director of Sales is a full‑time, on‑site role based at Wiens Cellars in Temecula, CA. This role oversees all sales channels, including the tasting room, wine club, direct‑to‑consumer, and wholesale accounts, to meet revenue and growth targets. Daily responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, managing sales operations processes, and ensuring a consistent, high‑quality guest experience. The Director of Sales leads and coaches the sales team, collaborates with marketing and production to align promotions and inventory, and cultivates relationships with distributors, key accounts, and strategic partners. This position is also responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, while representing Wiens Cellars at events and industry functions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated strength in Sales and Business Development, with experience driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
Proficiency in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and optimizing sales processes and tools.
Commitment to exceptional Customer Service, with the ability to foster a guest‑centric culture in a hospitality or winery environment.
Proven Team Management experience, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of sales or customer‑facing teams.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
5+ years’ experience in the wine, beverage, hospitality, or related consumer goods industry is highly beneficial.
Comfort with data‑driven decision‑making and familiarity with POS/CRM systems (Commerce7 a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
$95,000-125,000 annual salary (includes performance incentives)
