Are you a strategic engineering leader who thrives at the intersection of technology, operations, and customer success?
An established and growing technical solutions organization is seeking a Director of Engineering & Solutions to lead and scale a multidisciplinary team responsible for engineering excellence, technical services, custom solutions, fabrication, and customer-focused innovation.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex customer challenges, developing high-performing teams, and partnering closely with Sales and Operations to drive business growth.
What You'll Do
Lead and execute the strategy for a broad Engineering & Solutions organization
Build and develop high-performing teams across:Application Engineering
Technical Services
Technical Training
Custom Solutions Production
Partner with Sales leadership to support strategic accounts, engineered solutions, and revenue growth initiatives
Drive operational excellence through scalable processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers facing complex engineering and process challenges
Develop organizational capability through leadership development, succession planning, and talent growth
Champion innovation while balancing standardization, quality, customer requirements, and business objectives
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field)
10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience
Proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering and technical service organizations
Strong customer-facing experience in Application Engineering, Field Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related functions
Demonstrated ability to partner with Sales and Operations to drive growth and profitability
Experience managing budgets, organizational performance, and strategic investments
Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
Strong leadership presence with a track record of building and developing teams
Preferred Background
Experience within one or more of the following industries:
Fluid Handling
Process Equipment
Life Sciences
Semiconductor Manufacturing
Advanced Manufacturing
Engineered Products
OEM or Technical Distribution
MBA or advanced engineering degree is a plus.
