AMSYS is seeking a Director of Fiber Engineering & Business Development to lead the growth of our Fiber Engineering and Telecom Infrastructure practice. This leadership role combines telecom engineering expertise, business development, and client relationship management to drive revenue growth and expand AMSYS' presence within the telecom, broadband, utility, and infrastructure markets.

AMSYS is seeking a Director of Fiber Engineering & Business Development to lead the growth of our Fiber Engineering and Telecom Infrastructure practice. This leadership role combines telecom engineering expertise, business development, and client relationship management to drive revenue growth and expand AMSYS' presence within the telecom, broadband, utility, and infrastructure markets.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute growth strategies for AMSYS' Fiber Engineering and Telecom Infrastructure business.
Generate new business opportunities and build relationships with telecom carriers, broadband providers, utilities, contractors, engineering firms, and infrastructure owners.
Lead the sales process from prospecting and proposal development through contract award.
Expand existing customer relationships and identify new service opportunities.
Partner with engineering and operations teams to develop solutions and deliver successful projects.
Represent AMSYS at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in telecommunications, fiber infrastructure, engineering, construction, or related industries.
Strong understanding of fiber engineering, OSP/ISP design, FTTH/FTTx, telecom infrastructure, and network deployment.
Proven track record of business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
Existing industry relationships strongly preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Expansion of existing accounts
Pipeline growth and win rates
Ideal Candidate
A telecom industry leader who understands both the technical and business side of fiber infrastructure and can successfully develop customer relationships, win new business, and grow a consulting and engineering services practice. This is a client-facing leadership role with significant time spent meeting customers, attending industry events, developing partnerships, and pursuing new opportunities.
