This is an opportunity to step into an established organization at an important stage in its evolution. The company currently operates across multiple financial and operational systems and is looking for a finance leader with strong systems implementation and process-improvement experience who can evaluate the existing environment, consolidate and streamline systems, improve reporting, and create a more scalable finance function.

Drive financial systems implementation and process-improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, visibility, accuracy, and scalability.

Partner with ownership and operations on strategic planning, capital allocation, job costing, WIP reporting, profitability analysis, and overall company performance.

Develop forward-looking financial models, forecasts, reporting, and KPIs that enable leadership to make better and faster business decisions.

Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with tax, licensing, bonding, and financial reporting requirements.

Serve as the primary financial contact for banking partners, bonding/surety companies, auditors, insurance providers, and outside advisors.

Build, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team while establishing processes capable of supporting continued organizational growth.

Provide hands-on financial leadership while helping position the organization for its next 10 years of growth.

Proven ability to improve financial processes, reporting, controls, and operational efficiency within a growing organization.

Leadership experience building, managing, and developing accounting and finance teams.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with construction accounting/ERP platforms such as Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation, or similar systems.

Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on business-partner approach.
