Client Overview:
Our client, a growing organization, is seeking a Director of Finance to join its growing team. As a leader in its industry, the organization offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on growth and operational excellence.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$140k - $160k
Position Overview:
The Director of Finance is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the company's financial systems, data architecture, and operational workflows.
Responsibilities of the Director of Finance:
Serve as the executive business owner of the company's financial systems architecture, including its ERP and related platforms.
Lead system design, implementation, optimization, and change management initiatives across the Finance organization.
Develop and maintain the long-term roadmap for financial system architecture, including integrations, system enhancements, and platform modernization.
Evaluate, integrate, or sunset finance-related platforms, including expense and payables systems, treasury platforms, AI-enabled reconciliation and reporting tools, and legacy ERP platforms scheduled for replacement or consolidation.
Required Experience/Skills for the Director of Finance:
10+ years of experience in financial systems implementation, analytics, or operational process design.
Demonstrated track record of self-directed delivery against committed deadlines with minimal supervision.
Strong communication, analytical, and project leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment.
Ability to work onsite during core business hours and travel periodically as required.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Director of Finance:
Experience leading ERP replacement or platform consolidation projects.
Experience implementing AI-enabled reconciliation or reporting tools.
Experience building KPI and reporting frameworks across multiple business entities.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
