The ideal candidate brings strong commercial leasing experience, established industry relationships, and the ability to independently manage multiple transactions. The Director works closely with Development, Marketing, Access, Property Operations, Finance, Tenant Coordination, Lease Administration, and Legal to advance deals and support successful tenant occupancy.

Identify, recruit, and cultivate relationships with national, international, and luxury retail and restaurant tenants; maintain an active prospect pipeline.

Lead negotiations for new leases, renewals, relocations, and amendments within assigned scope; prepare deal terms and financial analyses.

Analyze rental rates, occupancy costs, and deal economics; report leasing performance and recommendations to senior leadership.

Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned tenants; lead renewal and retention discussions.

Partner with Development, Marketing, Tenant Coordination, Legal, and Lease Administration across the transaction and delivery lifecycle; mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

7-10 years of progressive commercial leasing experience; luxury retail, mixed-use, or shopping center experience strongly preferred; mentoring experience a plus.

Demonstrated experience independently negotiating lease transactions and building retailer relationships

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

Strong financial acumen and ability to manage multiple transactions independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and leasing management systems.
