A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to support their team. This full-time in-office role offers an opportunity to lead manufacturing process design and improvement efforts for switchboard and switchgear products. The position is based on-site and involves supervising engineering teams.

Director, Manufacturing Engineering Responsibilities :
Personally design, document, and enhance manufacturing workflows, layouts, and work instructions.
Lead process reviews, critique process designs, and enforce quality standards.
Coach and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians in process methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
Oversee the manufacturing engineering team, including hiring and performance management.
Collaborate closely with Product Engineering on manufacturability and design feedback.
Director, Manufacturing Engineering Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 8 years of progressive process engineering experience, with hands-on involvement in process development.
Proficiency with SolidWorks, process documentation, and control plans.
Experience leading process reviews, mentoring teams, and managing engineering budgets.
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC, and manufacturing standards like UL 891, NEC, and ANSI.
