Position: Director of Operations
Location: Huntsville, Alabama area

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business
At least seven years of Manufacturing leadership experience within forging, metal forming, or heavy industrial environment.
Minimum three years of Management experience leading multiple departments, in a Union environment.
Experience with Forging operations, Machining processes, Heat treatment operations, Production scheduling and workflow management
MUST HAVE METAL FORGING EXPERIENCE

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate daily manufacturing activities across all forge operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Promote and maintain a culture of safety throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
Partner with Quality personnel to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal standards.
Support labor relations activities and administer policies consistent with collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
Work closely with Production Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials and resources are available to meet customer commitments.

Salary
Salary Range $160,000 - $180,000
