Director of Nursing
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at Sandstone Post Acute in Bryan, OH. As Director of Nursing, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and compassion. Responsibilities:
Oversee the management of our nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents
Develop and implement effective nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for our residents, ensuring their unique needs are met and exceeded
Monitor and improve the quality of care delivered, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
Supervise medication administration, treatments, and other nursing interventions, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
Maintain accurate records and reports, including census, staffing, and quality indicators
Participate in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring the efficient use of resources and achieving financial goals
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role in a post-acute care setting
Current RN license in the state of Ohio
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of nurses and support staff
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
