Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team at Avir at Bellville. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of our nursing department. Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction to our nursing department, ensuring alignment with our organization's goals and values
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high-quality patient care and safety
Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and excellent communication among nursing staff
Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement plans to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff to ensure professional growth and development
Develop and manage departmental budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of assets and allocation of funds
Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)
Current RN license
At least (Minimum Years of Experience) years of experience in a nursing leadership role
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
