Job description
Salary: $120,000 - $165,000 per year, based on experience
A long-term care organization is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) near Saratoga Springs, NY to lead clinical operations, support staff development, and ensure high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily nursing department operations
Lead, coach, and develop nursing staff
Monitor quality of care and resident outcomes
Maintain regulatory and survey readiness
Partner with executive and interdisciplinary teams
Drive quality improvement and operational efficiency
Qualifications
Current, unrestricted New York RN license
Nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
Strong knowledge of clinical compliance and survey requirements
Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills
