About the Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Nursing to join our team at Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in Vandalia, Missouri.
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for providing clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff in the correctional environment. Works under the direction of the contract manager and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team to improve health care of incarcerated patients.
Qualifications
Missouri RN license required
Associate's Degree required
Previous nursing leadership experience preferred
Must maintain active CPR and Basic Life Support certification
Corrections experience preferred, not required
Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift
Monday-Friday, Days with on-call as needed
