Director of Nursing (DON)
Lynn Care Center
Salary: $125,000 – $143,000 annually
Lynn Care Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure high-quality, compassionate resident care. The DON will oversee clinical operations, nursing staff, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily nursing operations.
Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
Ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
Monitor staffing, clinical documentation, care plans, and resident outcomes.
Participate in surveys, audits, and QAPI initiatives.
Partner with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Support recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff.
Qualifications
Current Virginia RN license .
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Five years of long-term care or acute healthcare experience preferred.
At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Long-term care leadership experience preferred.
