Lake Placid Health & Rehab, a trusted and compassionate senior care provider in Lake Placid, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our skilled nursing facility. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our 180-bed skilled nursing facility. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, management, and oversight to our nursing staff, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional care and services. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving positive outcomes, improving patient satisfaction, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and teamwork
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Foster open communication and collaboration between nursing, medical, and support staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Develop and manage the nursing budget, optimizing resources to achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Identify and address performance gaps, implementing corrective actions to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes
Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized and person-centered care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, driving continuous improvement and patient satisfaction
Requirements
Active RN nursing license in the state of Florida
3+ years of experience as a DON in a SNF setting
Ideal candidate has strong outcomes on state surveys
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
What We Offer
Competitive salary range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually
