Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to join our team at Envive Healthcare of Sullivan in Sullivan, Indiana. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for coordinating resident care and leading a team of nursing professionals in providing high-quality care to our patients. About the Role
As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating resident care with a "hands-on" management style
Developing, reviewing, and revising nursing and clinical policies
Conducting employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents
Leading in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews
Making independent decisions when circumstances warrant
Focusing on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions
Promoting an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assuring regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded
Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment
Director of Nursing Qualifications and Skills
Strong supervisory experience (3 years required)
Experience in Long Term Care (5 years required)
Registered Nurse License (Required)
CPR/First Aid Certification (Required)
