Do you enjoy developing teams, solving operational challenges, and creating memorable guest experiences? We're looking for an energetic and service-driven Director of Operations to help lead the daily operations of the Le Meridien 5th Ave hotel.
Working alongside the General Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting department leaders, and ensuring every guest leaves with a great impression.
What You'll Do
Support the General Manager with the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments as needed.
Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and associates to achieve exceptional performance.
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
Help manage labor, expenses, and operational efficiencies.
Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and company policies.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and profitability goals.
Serve as Manager on Duty and provide visible leadership throughout the hotel.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
Previous Operations Manager or Rooms Division leadership experience preferred.
Marriott experience is highly desirable.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to inspire teams while maintaining a hands-on management style.
Passion for hospitality and creating outstanding guest experiences.
