Director of Operations – Pizza Hut | Flynn Group

The Role
As a Director of Operations, you will lead a large multi-unit region across Virginia, partnering with Area Directors and field leaders to drive performance across operations, people, and profitability.

Own full P&L performance across 30+ restaurants
Deliver against sales, profitability, and operational targets
Analyze financials, KPIs, and operating reports to drive action
Execute business plans that consistently hit or exceed goals
Skilled Communicator
Clearly communicate expectations, priorities, and performance standards
Influence and align Area Directors and field leaders across your region
Partner cross-functionally to drive results and consistency
Present performance insights and business updates effectively
Culture Champion
Lead with a people-first mindset that reinforces Flynn’s values
Create a culture of accountability, recognition, and engagement
Ensure strong employee relations and a positive team environment
Model what great leadership looks like in the field
Take full ownership of your region’s performance

Coach and develop Area Directors and multi-unit leaders
Build strong bench strength and succession plans across your region
Identify and grow high-potential talent
Hold leaders accountable while investing in their development
Strategic Planner
Build and execute annual business plans and budgets
Forecast performance and proactively adjust strategy
Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and market expansion
Balance short-term results with long-term business success
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience required (QSR strongly preferred)
Experience leading 30+ locations with multiple direct reports
Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen
Proven ability to drive results through others
A leader who brings grit, urgency, and accountability
Passion for developing people and building strong teams
