This leadership role is responsible for overseeing multiple preconstruction managers, guiding project budgeting and design development, and maintaining strong relationships with architects, developers, and clients.**What’s in it for you?*** Competitive executive compensation with performance-based incentives* Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, disability, life)* Paid vacation and holidays* 401(k) with company match* Year-round stability with a trusted, established builder* A collaborative, family-oriented culture that values craftsmanship, leadership, and integrity## Qualifications**What makes you stand out?*** 6+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience* 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field* Strong knowledge of commercial construction pricing, budgeting, and estimating practices* Experience managing multiple projects during the design and preconstruction phases* Ability to build relationships with architects, engineers, developers, and clients* Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage preconstruction staff* Proficiency with estimating software, project management platforms, and digital takeoff tools* Excellent communication, organization, and strategic planning abilities* A reputation for accuracy, professionalism, and building trusted client relationships**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*** Leading and managing the preconstruction and estimating team* Overseeing budgets, conceptual estimates, and detailed cost proposals* Collaborating with architects and design teams during the design development process* Developing value engineering solutions that balance cost, schedule, and design intent* Managing multiple preconstruction efforts simultaneously across various project types* Building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, developers, and key clients* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure accurate pricing and risk evaluation* Working closely with project managers and operations to ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to construction* Developing subcontractor relationships and coordinating trade partner pricing* Supporting business development efforts through client meetings, proposals, and presentations* Continuously improving estimating systems, pricing databases, and internal processes**Why Andrew Roby?**Founded in 2009 as the third member of the Roby Family of Companies, Roby Commercial brings the same craftsmanship, attention to detail, and client-focused service that Andrew Roby has been known for since 1950.
