Job description
Weaver Brands is looking for a Director of Pricing Strategy to shape how we approach pricing and profitability across our brands, products, customers, and sales channels. This role will lead a more strategic, disciplined, and data-driven pricing approachwhile developing a strong team and partnering with leaders across the organization.
What You'll Do
Develop and lead enterprise-wide pricing strategies that support profitable growth and strengthen margins.
Build pricing methodologies, guidelines, approval processes, and review practices that create greater consistency and accountability.
Analyze pricing, volume, product mix, discounts, rebates, freight, tariffs, and other factors impacting profitability and develop actionable recommendations.
Evaluate customer, product, category, and channel profitability to identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
Partner with Sales, Category Management, Finance, Sourcing, Operations, and Digital on pricing, profitability, promotions, and cost-recovery decisions.
Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting that provide clear visibility into pricing effectiveness, price realization, margins, and profitability.
Lead and develop the pricing and sales implementation team, providing clear direction, coaching, tools, and support.
Serve as a trusted resource to Executive Leadership, bringing data, insight, sound judgment, and integrity to important commercial decisions.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
7–10 years of progressive experience in pricing strategy, commercial finance, revenue management, category management, business strategy, or a related leadership role.
Proven experience developing pricing strategies that improve gross margin, price realization, and profitability.
Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in pricing analytics, profitability analysis, margin management, and financial modeling.
Experience supporting pricing across multiple customers and channels, including wholesale, national accounts, ecommerce, DTC, and marketplace environments, preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations and influence leaders across the organization.
Demonstrated people leadership experience with the ability to develop employees, build accountability, and create a collaborative team environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using ERP systems, Power BI, or similar reporting and business intelligence tools.
