Job description
Job Title: Director of Project Development
Frederick Fox (Los Angeles) is partnering with a real estate development company specialized in affordable housing to hire a Director of Project Development in north Los Angeles.
Direct Reports: None but will collaborate with a team of 4 Project Managers and Assistant PMs to prepare financing applications
Salary Range: $160,000 - $240,000 base + discretionary 15% annual bonus
Retirement – 5% retirement match
Time Away – 3 to 4 weeks PTO plus holidays
Healthcare – Monthly medical premiums 100% paid by employer for employee
Description
Research and develop financing sources, prepare financing applications and meet other lender requirements to secure new projects
Assist LIHTC programs to procure construction and permanent financing for developments and assist with due diligence requirements for Investors/Lenders at partnership/loan closings.
Assist in the preparation and updates of project proformas
Work with other departments to prepare project’s development and construction budget
Qualifications
10 years in real estate with an emphasis in multi-family housing or affordable housing development project management.
Extensive experience with low income housing tax credits and city/county/state funding programs
Track record of private and public debt financing and equity typical for affordable housing development
Experience in all phases of new construction development process
