Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager / Director of Quality to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's quality management programs. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving quality initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, compliance programs, and operational excellence across multiple locations.

Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Manager / Director of Quality will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company-wide quality systems, processes, and performance metrics. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives align with overall business goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the organization's quality strategy and long-term vision.
Lead quality initiatives focused on improving efficiency, consistency, compliance, and overall performance.
Manage quality-related activities, priorities, and resources across the organization.
Develop, maintain, and improve quality systems, procedures, policies, work instructions, and related documentation.
Lead internal and external audit programs and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective/preventive action programs.
Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.
Establish and monitor quality performance metrics, reporting, and key performance indicators.
Maintain calibration, inspection, testing, and evaluation programs as applicable.
Prepare and present quality reports, trends, recommendations, and improvement plans to leadership.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and quality ownership throughout the organization.
Support customer and stakeholder relationships by ensuring quality expectations are met or exceeded.
Leadership Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop quality team members.
Manage staffing, employee development, performance management, and succession planning activities.
Ensure departmental objectives support broader organizational goals.
Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Promote a positive, results-driven, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive quality leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing processes, compliance standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience leading quality programs, managing teams, and driving organizational change.
Proven ability to develop performance metrics and utilize data to support decision-making.
Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality-related software systems.
