Director of Quality, Compliance & Innovation

Are you a senior quality leader from food or beverage manufacturing looking for a technically challenging executive role where you can take full ownership of innovation, compliance and quality?
Do you want to build a new vertical that sits right at the heart of the business, operating with high autonomy, reporting directly to senior leadership?
On offer is a rare opportunity to lead from the production floor to the boardroom in a hands-on, onsite position. You will be joining a fast growing food manufacturer with ambitious growth plans, looking to unify quality control, regulatory compliance, and product innovation under one strategic function. As a result of continued growth and a new product category launch planned, they are now looking to add a senior leader to spearhead this new division. In this role you will lead GFSI/SQF audits, preventive controls (HACCP) ownership, CAPA and supplier programs, and you will also guide sensory and innovation activity, remaining a visible presence on the plant floor, in the lab, and in the pilot kitchen. The successful person will play a pivotal role in a range of varied and interesting projects from concept to completion, directly impacting the organizations success.

The Role:
Responsible for the end-to-end strategy, growth and development of quality, food safety, and product innovation for a fast growing food manufacturer
Grow, develop multi-disciplinary teams and shape a brand-new function with freedom and autonomy
Lead new product development from concept, commercialization work closely with R&D
Own the QC & QA function across all manufacturing lines, lead audits, drive route cause investigation, continuous improvement, and manage the supplier quality program
Exciting long-term progression as this organization continues to grow and scale
The Person:
Senior Quality/Compliance leader from food or beverage manufacturing
Strong working knowledge of GFSI/SQF, HACCP, FSMA preventive controls/PCQI-level ownership, and audit leadership
Comfortable leading teams cross-functionally while staying hands-on and visible on the plant floor
Looking for a high-impact role with technical challenges
