Job description
Director of Quality, Risk, UR, Outcomes, RN, Tx.
Director of Quality, Performance Improvement, and Risk needed for a healthcare organization. Candidates must have strong experience and demonstrated results as a Director in a general acute‑care setting with at least 10 years of leadership in quality improvement.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Master’s degree.
CPHQ certification – preferred.
Strong leadership role in Q.I./P.I. with a steady work history.
Six Sigma certification – a plus.
Experience in risk and outcomes management.
Responsibilities
Reports to the VP of Quality.
Oversees hospital‑wide Q.I., peer review, outcomes management, external reporting, and patient safety systems.
Key performance components include: Clinical process improvement and team management across all departments.
Leading CMPI direction in collaboration with the VP, CQO and AQOs.
Expertise in data/information management, protection, presentation and benchmarking.
Leading medical staff peer review management per bylaws and PI plan.
Ensuring DNV and other regulatory compliance for quality of care.
Registry oversight, budgeting and staffing for quality improvement and operational efficiencies.
Supporting departmental quality resources as expert partner.
Participating with system quality leadership to gain competency and effectiveness in organization‑wide initiatives per strategic plan.
