Director of Rehab
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Rehab to join our team at Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Rehab will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, and promoting a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including the management of therapy staff, treatment plans, and patient care
Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance the overall rehabilitation experience
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and coordinate care across departments
Recruit, train, and supervise therapy staff to ensure a high level of competence and expertise
Develop and manage the rehabilitation department budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability
Conduct regular quality assessment and improvement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Foster strong relationships with physician partners and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field , such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology
2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with a focus on leadership and management
Current licensure in the state of Florida as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist
Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a rehabilitation setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff at all levels
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
