About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehab PT or PTA to lead our rehabilitation team at St Johnsbury Center for Living and Rehabilitation. Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and management to the rehabilitation department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs and protocols, utilizing evidence-based practices and research-based interventions
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Ensure optimal patient outcomes, as measured by clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
Develop and manage department budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment
Educate and mentor rehabilitation team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or related field
2+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
Current PT or PTA licensure in the state of Vermont
Certification in a specialty area (e.g., CHT, CPO) preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
