nSchedule: Fulltime

nCompensation: $125,000 - $175,000 per year

n nResponsibilities

nAs a Director of Rehab, you will oversee, guide and mentor the entire rehab team to ensure the plan of care for the patient population is being followed at all times.

nnnDirecting rehab services operations, such as staff interviews, orientation, performance appraisals, employee development and supervision.

n

nnScheduling rehab therapy staff.

n

nnEnsuring that the rehab services being provided are appropriate to the scope and level of care for the patients being served.

n

nnFostering interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality and efficient service delivery.

n

nnServing as a liaison between the Rehab Therapy department and the Chief Nursing Officer to further clinically develop staff, service and/or rehab program.

n

nnActively promoting professional development, education and competency of rehab staff.

n

nnDemonstrating awareness of department’s needs and assisting with daily operations.

n

n nQualifications

nMinimum Qualifications

nnnCurrent state licensure as a Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist required. (For Speech discipline: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association required.)

n

nnThree to five years of therapy experience required.

n

nnCertified BLS required within 90 days of hire or promotion.

n

n nPreferred Experience

nnnMaster’s Degree or higher preferred.

n

nnThree years of rehabilitation preferred.

n

nnThree or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity preferred.
