Lead member and VIP operations: recognition at the door, expedited service, relationship development, and coordination with the VIP reservations line and VIP directors
Conduct daily tastings and product evaluations, and disclose inconsistencies
Develop service and revenue strategy informed by guest demographics
Maintain working knowledge of the surrounding market, including competing restaurants, businesses, and hotels
People & Culture Interview, hire, train, and manage supervisors and managers, sourcing talent actively through professional networks and industry channels
Develop the team and provide clear paths for growth within the company
Build training calendars and train-the-trainer programs
Maintain company culture and staff morale through a positive, respectful, and transparent work environment
Partner closely with Human Resources, providing visibility into the property so HR can advise on best practices and mitigate legal exposure
Define clear objectives with named owners, and review their plans to deliver
Encourage creativity, proactivity, and autonomy, drawing on insight from team members closest to the guest
