Job description
Director of Risk Management and Patient Safety - Los Angeles, CA
We are seeking a high-level risk leader for a busy hospital in Los Angeles. This permanent leadership role oversees risk management projects such as cybersecurity, reimbursement structures, and recommending processes on safety issues. Ideal candidate is skilled in: infection prevention program oversight, architectural infection control consulting, cybersecurity risk in healthcare, root cause analysis and FMEA, acute care hospital risk management, and population health needs analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
CA RN preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care, or Public Administration AND 7 years of healthcare experience in related field
3–5 years of recent experience in clinical risk management, with demonstrated expertise in conducting detailed clinical chart reviews and leading root cause analyses
7 years of leadership experience with or without direct reports
Professional Healthcare Quality Certificate OR Professional Healthcare Risk Management Certificatewithin 24 months of hire
