Serve as liaison with client/owner insurance representatives for project-specific policies.

Oversee performance and payment bond placement with brokers and surety partners.

Manage the master Builders Risk program, including reporting and premium allocations.

Lead internal claims management across Workers’ Comp, GL, Auto, and Builders Risk, coordinating TPAs, insurers, and defense counsel.

Analyze loss trends and collaborate with Safety on corrective action plans.

Drive annual insurance renewals, broker management, submission approvals, and premium negotiations.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to insurance programs.

Maintain awareness of construction insurance market trends, coverage developments, and pricing dynamics.

Partner with internal learning teams to deliver education on risk and insurance topics.

Assist with fleet driver education initiatives and internal risk communication strategies.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

10+ years of experience in Risk Management, Insurance, or Surety Brokerage (construction industry required).

Construction finance/accounting experience strongly preferred.

Proven ability to manage complex insurance programs and stakeholder relationships.

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent time management with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Why This Opportunity

This organization is a top-tier commercial builder delivering complex projects across multifamily, healthcare, education, and civic sectors. The company offers a collaborative, people-first culture with strong executive visibility, long-term career growth, and a comprehensive compensation package including bonus potential, retirement benefits, and full medical coverage.

You’ll join a leadership team that values accountability, innovation, and professional development—while playing a critical role in protecting and scaling a growing enterprise.
