Scope of Responsibility: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to align with company goals. Lead sales team to grow markets share while providing excellent service to existing customers.
Oversee the sales, business development, customer relations, outside sales rep activities and is “hands-on” in each of these areas as required. Assist in planning and ensuring the effective execution of business unit sales and market development strategies.
Identify prospects and assists in the development of growth strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives.
Partner with team to negotiate terms and conditions.
Participate as a key member of the team to successfully go to market with client focused solutions.
Manage assigned staff providing positive, credible, and energetic leadership. Proactively provide training on company products and sales strategies.
Provide timely sales and business development projection to management.
Keep business unit management appraised on sales and market development issues and performance in a timely manner so these issues can be addressed expeditiously.
Ensure soundness and maintenance of key customer relationships and business.
Interpret sales and market trends for division and make recommendations that focus on cost reduction, profit improvement, and continuous improvement. Clearly articulate and explain recommendations.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of sales budget and address variances and other budget related issues for assigned territory.
Propose policies and procedures to improve sales and marketing efforts and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Work closely with Sales and Project Development teams to penetrate and grow key accounts and win key projects
Create and refine sales tools, technical documentation and field support processes
Lead the development and implementation of a product roadmap that meets or exceeds a critical mass of customer needs, have a competitive edge in the market and drives profitable growth for the Engineered Enclosures business
Monitor market requirements to identify trends, generate product requirements and new offerings, determine specifications and recognize partnership opportunities
Identify key market opportunities, originate and present business case(s) to justify the development and launch of new products requirements
Prioritize new feature development and product revisions and ensure alignment with product roadmap
Working with Sabre Industries’ internal teams, potential customers, and partners to understand storage needs and requirements to formulate optimized building solutions.
Understand changing market and permitting requirements to ensure Sabre’s product offering complies with applicable standards and code requirements
High degree of involvement with customers, industry associations, and other market information sources to ensure cascading market knowledge within the organization
Analyze offerings of competitors to ensure Sabre’s success as the best/optimized solution provider for our clients
Jointly with engineering, develop and maintain technical and safety standards for a variety of product applications

Requirements
Position Requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong problem solving, data analysis, project planning skills
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a “can-do” attitude
Maintains confidences and ensures appropriate levels of confidentiality.
Possesses a high energy level and enthusiasm with the ability to focus on agreed recommendations and results.
Travel as required including participation in trade shows, key customer visits and l meetings
Proven experience of minimum 3 years with data storage, fiber, communication and utility applications.
Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline or related experience preferred
Experience in product management a plus
Experience with engineered enclosures or systems integration business a plus
