Job description
Although in the metal fabrication industry, the client doesn't necessarily need somebody who has come out of this industry. Also, they are keen to stress that the incumbent left due to health issues and that while he was a valued member of the leadership team, he left the company in a great place so "nothing is broken" as the client put it.
This is not a sit in front of a spreadsheet role. The sales team is knocking it out of the park but can do with the help and guidance on some larger accounts that might require an executive presence.
Target accounts tend not to be larger as my client has 6 offices nationally that serve their local markets.
In order to be selected for interview you will need to be able to demonstrate;
General management/business operations experience
Sales or sales leadership experience - PLEASE, YOU MUST HAVE DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN SALES LEADERSHIP.
B2B targetted employers. Account such as metal fabricators, construction, building materials, architects would be of particular interest.
Some more general management experience that will include financials, HR, operations, distribution, process improvement
