Job description
The Director of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for owning Fiat's sales and servicing processes and leading the advisor team to consistently deliver against them. This role is fundamentally people- and performance-driven, requiring the ability to build trust and rapport with advisors, hold the team accountable to clear standards and KPIs, and continuously refine how Fiat sells and serves clients.
Success in this role will be measured by advisor performance, adherence to process, client retention, and the overall health of the client experience. The Director will act as the internal leader for Fiat's sales advisors and as a close partner to the servicing advisor team and firm leadership in shaping how the firm grows.
Key Responsibilities
Process Ownership & Standards
Learn and own Fiat's sales and servicing processes end-to-end; ensure all advisors consistently adhere to them.
Partner with servicing advisors to build out and continually refine the firm's service model.
Build rapport with the advisor team and own the leadership seat — responsible for their growth, development, performance, and sales outcomes.
Learn and own the training of new advisors.
Performance & Accountability
Make data-driven decisions and hold advisors accountable to KPIs, as well as to their respective sales or service process.
Partner with leadership on sales marketing decisions, including lead generation strategy.
Culture of Improvement
Treat change and refinement as constant and expected; bring an attitude of innovation, always seeking a better way to operate.
Treat education as core to how Fiat operates — learn from the meetings you sit in on and from what other offices are doing well, and apply those learnings across the team.
Qualifications
Proven sales leadership experience, ideally within financial services, wealth management, or a related advisory field.
Track record of coaching, developing, and training a team toward measurable performance goals.
Experience making data-driven decisions and holding a team accountable to KPIs and process.
Strong understanding of client retention strategy and the client lifecycle.
Collaborative style — able to partner closely with servicing advisors and firm leadership.
A continuous-improvement mindset — proactive, coachable, and always looking for a better way to operate.
