Job description
Amherst County Public Schools in Amherst, VA is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee the district’s accounting and budgeting functions. This role supervises finance office staff, ensures internal controls, and presents financial information to the School Board.
The incumbent coordinates the annual budget, monitors multiple budgets, and works with county officials to ensure timely processing of revenues and expenditures, while guiding audits and financial reporting.
