Description
Visual Sound is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to serve as the company's Director of Technical Operations. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure a seamless workflow, drive operational excellence, and align technical initiatives with business objectives.
The Director of Technical Operations should possess strong management skills, a tactical mindset, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership. This role also requires the capacity to streamline processes and manage teams successfully to ensure efficient processes and sustainable growth.
While a technical background in A/V is required, this person must also be proficient in supervising others, procedures, budgeting, and putting proposals together.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop high-performing teams, drive accountability, and foster collaboration across departments.
Setting and executing operational strategies, scaling operations, and using KPIs for data-driven decision-making.
Workflow improvements, cost reduction, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
P&L management, budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
Implementing new systems, restructuring teams, and improving company-wide efficiencies.
Performance reporting and analysis of ongoing operations
Familiarity with a similar operational environment is a plus.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management

Proficient in problem-solving, developing, and executing strategic plans
