Job description

Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking a Director for the Systems Planning Bureau in Ames, IA. This at-will role leads four teams—Traffic Collection & Analysis, Modeling, Forecasting & Telemetrics, Planning, and Mapping & Geographic Information—to develop modal transportation plans and the state long-range transportation plan.

You will coordinate with multiple state and federal agencies, oversee regional planning funds, and guide data collection, analysis, and visualization.
