Full-Time | Clinical Leadership
Lead the care. Develop the team. Set the standard.
At Greenview Assisted Living , a Cardinal Senior Living community, we’re looking for a Director of Wellness who can lead clinical operations with confidence, develop a strong care team, and ensure our residents receive the dignity, safety, and care they deserve.
This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk.
You’ll be visible in the community, close to residents and families, coaching your team, solving problems, strengthening systems, and creating accountability around great resident care.
You’ll probably love this role if you like to:
Lead and develop nurses, Med Techs, and caregivers
Build a team that knows the standard and executes it consistently
Stay close to what is actually happening with residents
Solve problems before they become crises
Coach people instead of simply correcting them
Build strong relationships with residents and families
Partner closely with the Executive Director
Bring structure, organization, and accountability to clinical operations
Own outcomes instead of waiting for someone else to step in
What You’ll Own
As Director of Wellness, you’ll lead the clinical function at Greenview, including:
Resident assessments and care planning
Changes in condition and clinical follow-up
Medication management and documentation
Admissions and transitions of care
Coordination with physicians, pharmacies, home health, hospice, and other providers
Infection prevention and clinical safety
Regulatory compliance and documentation standards
Resident and family communication
Clinical staffing, onboarding, coaching, and development
Your goal is simple: create a care operation that is safe, consistent, responsive, and not dependent on who happens to be working that day.
Build a Strong Care Team
Great clinical leadership is about more than managing schedules.
You’ll:
Hire, onboard, coach, and develop clinical team members
Set clear expectations for performance and resident care
Provide hands-on education and guidance
Address performance issues directly and appropriately
Strengthen communication and accountability across the team
Help create a workplace where strong employees want to stay and grow
Partner With Operations
Clinical performance affects everything inside a senior living community.
You’ll work closely with the Executive Director to connect resident care with staffing, occupancy, family experience, compliance, and overall community performance.
We want a clinical leader who understands that great care and great operations go hand in hand.
What We’re Looking For
Active LPN or RN license
Senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or related clinical experience
Previous nursing or clinical leadership experience
Strong knowledge of assessments, care planning, medication management, documentation, and resident care
Experience leading and developing care staff
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Confidence working with residents, families, employees, providers, and leadership
Director of Wellness, Director of Nursing, Wellness Nurse, or similar leadership experience is strongly preferred.
