How You'll Contribute
A Pharmacy Director who excels in this role:
To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
Education: Doctorate Degree in related field preferred; Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Experience: One year of experience preferred.
Required Skills: Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department Leadership ability, integrity, and initiative required. Ability to solve problems effectively and handle stress in a positive manner. Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and all hospital department.
