Job description
Alvarez & Marsal is hiring a Director in its Private Client Services (family office) practice in Atlanta to oversee accounting for high-net-worth clients and families - general ledger, financial reporting and tax-preparation support - while supervising staff, developing client relationships and supporting business development. $130k-$175k.
The position involves overseeing accounting processes for high-net-worth clients and families, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and tax preparation support. Key responsibilities include supervising accounting staff, developing client relationships, managing multiple engagements simultaneously, and supporting business development initiatives.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting; 5+ years of relevant experience with preference for a private client services background; CPA certification; leadership experience managing multiple work streams; advanced Excel proficiency and QuickBooks knowledge; strong communication and analytical abilities.
Desired traits: detail-oriented professionals with a commitment to mentoring staff and a passion for training and mentoring team members; bilingual capability is a plus.
