Job Description
The Director, Product Solutions, Visa Commercial Solutions will help financial institution clients and partners accelerate the growth of Commercial and B2B payments, with a focus on virtual card solutions and next-generation payment capabilities. In this highly visible role, you will serve as the dedicated Product Solutions leader supporting one of Visa's largest and most strategic global financial institution clients, helping design, launch, and scale innovative commercial payment solutions across markets worldwide.
Acting as a trusted advisor to both client and internal stakeholders, you will partner across product, sales, account management, and technology teams to bring new Commercial and B2B payment capabilities to market. You will help clients solve complex payment, cash flow, and working capital challenges while driving adoption of Visa's commercial products, APIs, data solutions, and value-added services.
The ideal candidate brings deep Commercial Card and B2B payments expertise, strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence stakeholders across complex organizations. Success in this role requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship management, and solutioning expertise, with experience helping financial institutions launch, scale, and commercialize payment products.
As part of the Global Visa Commercial Solutions team, you will play a key role in shaping product strategy, advocating for client needs, and driving the global expansion of innovative payment solutions for one of Visa's most important banking relationships.
Responsibilities
Serve as the dedicated Product Solutions lead for one of Visa's largest and most strategic global financial institution clients, driving adoption, innovation, and growth across Visa Commercial Solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, helping shape commercial payment strategies and bring innovative Commercial and B2B payment solutions to market.
Present Visa Commercial Solutions, including commercial card products, virtual card capabilities, APIs, and value-added services to financial institutions and technology partners.
Partner with clients, issuer processors, and internal Visa teams to support solution design, product launches, implementation planning, and commercialization activities.
Drive the global expansion of commercial payment solutions, helping clients launch and scale products across multiple markets.
Serve as the voice of the client within Visa, providing customer feedback and influencing product priorities, roadmap discussions, and solution enhancements.
Collaborate across product, sales, account management, partnership, and technology teams to deliver strategic client initiatives and successful business outcomes.
Lead discovery sessions and consultative discussions to understand client business needs and develop scalable payment, working capital, and cash flow solutions.
Help clients understand Visa product capabilities, operating processes, commercial economics, and implementation considerations to maximize value realization.
Build and deliver customized solution presentations, demonstrations, and executive-level communications that clearly articulate business value.
Identify opportunities to innovate, package, and commercialize Visa capabilities to create differentiated solutions for clients and partners.
Present at client meetings, industry events, and internal forums as a subject matter expert on Commercial and B2B payments.
Travel Requirement: Up to 30%.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
Degree in engineering, computer science, management information, finance or equivalent
Proven experience in working with financial institutions and financial technology providers to develop and launch commercial card payment solutions
Experienced working with Medium to Large Corporations and Public Sector entities
Knowledge of digital products that support Commercial Cards and electronic payments
Experienced in the four-party model and understanding of how Financial Institutions engage and work with the networks (such as Visa) and technology providers
Strong understanding of issuer processors, issuer operating models and the end-to-end activities required for issuers to launch, price and scale new commercial payment products
Knowledge of Visa Commercial and B2B payment products, virtual card capabilities, product processes, pricing, fees and economics
Experience developing vertical solutions, product strategies and execution plans that package Visa capabilities for issuer clients and support launch across markets globally
Multiple years of solid experience in a senior support, consulting, or engineering role with Financial Institutions, Payment Networks or with medium to large scale enterprise business
Experienced with payments, expense management and accounts payables software used by medium to enterprise organization
Requires someone who not only understands how payment products integrate technically, but how they work together to form a solutions, operationally sustainable, and how they can work for enterprise IT organizations, business and their technical environments
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a focus on capturing requirements and use cases, developing a solution and articulating business value
Extensive experience with API and system integration with attention to security and connectivity between companies, their financial institutions and technology providers
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to less technical audiences, both internal and external with superior presentation and demonstration skills
Requires someone who is a strong voice for our customer, client-focused attitude and ability to be a customer advocate
Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems
Information for US Applicants
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $192,300.00 to $ 307,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
