Job description
The Director, Sales Operations & Program Management will run the day-to-day operational backbone of Silith's commercial organization - sales operations execution, pipeline and forecast management, and hands-on program management for major customer engagements. This person will own the systems, reporting, and program cadence that keep Sales, Business Development, Finance, Operations, and Engineering aligned on customer commitments, working closely with the VP of Sales Programs & Operations to execute the processes and structure that support Silith's growth with hyperscalers, semiconductor companies, and OEMs.
Responsibilities:
Own day-to-day sales operations: CRM administration, pipeline hygiene, opportunity tracking, and commercial reporting
Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline data and produce regular forecasting reports for the VP of Sales Programs & Operations and the CRO
Support order management, pricing administration, and margin tracking in coordination with Finance
Build and maintain dashboards that give Sales, BD, and executive leadership clear visibility into pipeline, bookings, and design win status
Program Management for Strategic Accounts
Serve as the hands-on program manager for major customer programs, tracking milestones, action items, and deliverables across Sales, BD, Engineering, Product, and Operations
Run the operating cadence for strategic account programs - status meetings, milestone reviews, and executive updates
Maintain program documentation, schedules, and risk logs for key customer engagements
Design Win Funnel Management
Escalate risks and blockers to the VP of Sales Programs & Operations and relevant functional leaders in time to resolve them
Maintain the design win funnel: track opportunities through evaluation, design-in, qualification, and production
Ensure consistent stage definitions, data entry, and reporting across the design win pipeline
Partner with Sales and BD to keep design win data current and identify opportunities to improve funnel velocity
Produce regular design win funnel reports for executive leadership
Sales Planning & Forecasting Support
Support the global sales planning and forecasting process, including data collection, analysis, and report preparation
Work with Sales and BD to validate customer forecasts and opportunity assumptions
Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain to help align demand forecasts with production capacity
Identify and flag gaps between customer demand, sales pipeline, and supply availability
Process & Systems Development
Build and continuously improve sales operations processes, tools, and templates to support a growing commercial organization
Own the administration and optimization of CRM and related sales systems
Develop standardized reporting templates and operating rhythms that scale as the team grows
Document processes and train Sales and BD team members on tools, systems, and reporting requirements
Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as a day-to-day operational point of contact between Sales, BD, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Engineering
Support the VP of Sales Programs & Operations in preparing executive reporting and board-level materials as needed
Help ensure customer commitments are clearly tracked and communicated internally through completion
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in sales operations, program management, or business operations, ideally in a technology or semiconductor company
Hands-on experience managing CRM systems, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasting processes
Experience program-managing complex, multi-stakeholder customer engagements or projects
Strong analytical and Excel/reporting skills, with the ability to build clear, accurate dashboards and reports
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with semiconductor, optical communications, silicon photonics, AI infrastructure, or related technology markets
Experience managing design win funnels or similarly staged, technical sales processes
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales operations tooling
Project or program management certification (e.g., PMP) a plus, though not required
Success Measures
Accurate, up-to-date pipeline and forecast data available to Sales and executive leadership at all times
Improved sales operations processes and tooling that scale with the growing commercial organization
Strong cross-functional coordination that keeps customer commitments on track
