Now Hiring: Director, SOX & Internal Audit
Dallas, TX | Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote
CI Search Group is partnering with a global technology company seeking an audit leader who wants to shape how a business manages controls and enterprise risk.
This opportunity combines ownership of a global SOX program with a broader mandate across enterprise risk management and operational audit. The first year will focus heavily on SOX, with the scope expanding into broader risk initiatives thereafter.
You'll join a collaborative global audit team of approximately 10 professionals, partner with senior leadership, and gain Audit Committee exposure over time.
What you'll do:
Lead SOX compliance across business and technology operations
Improve control design, streamline testing, and drive remediation
Lead risk-based operational audits and support enterprise risk initiatives
Partner with external auditors and business leaders
Develop audit talent and expand technology risk capabilities
Use AI, automation, and analytics to modernize audit workflows
What we're looking for:
10+ years of relevant experience with strong audit leadership
Public accounting plus industry experience in a large, complex organization
Active CIA or CISA certification
Strong SOX and enterprise risk management experience
Technology risk knowledge, including IT controls and cybersecurity governance
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on leadership style
Technology or SaaS experience preferred
