Job Description
Our client is hiring a Director, Strategy & Operations for a hybrid, full-time role based in Charlotte or Washington, DC. You'll work closely with the VP of Strategy & Operations and senior executives to shape enterprise strategy, drive priority growth and value creation initiatives, and turn ambiguous business questions into clear recommendations with measurable outcomes.
This role sits across strategy, corporate development, and cross-functional execution. The work includes synthesizing market, customer, financial, and operational insights into decision-ready materials for executive leadership and board discussions. You'll lead complex strategic programs, identify growth opportunities and operational expansion initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities and adjacent markets, assess partnerships and M&A opportunities, and support build, buy, or partner decisions.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in management consulting, enterprise strategy, corporate strategy, growth strategy, or a related environment, ideally within a high-growth technology company. You should also be comfortable using AI-enabled workflows, automation platforms, and business intelligence tools to improve the speed and quality of analysis. This is a hybrid role with an expected in-office presence 3 days per week in Charlotte or Washington, DC.
